Potato Cake

What you Need

1 kg Potatoes

600 grams Flour


Flour for rolling out the dough

What to do

  1. Peel the potatoes and boil them soft (as if you were making mash)
  2. Remove the water and leave the potatoes to chill for about 20-30 min.
  3. Mash the potatoes and add the flour, about 100 grams at the time, until you get a nice dough.
  4. Use a rolling pin and roll the dough thin - the thinner the better. Use flour on the bench, so the dough doesn't stick
  5. Place a plate on the dough and cut around, so you get a nice round cake.
  6. Cook the cake in a pan on slow heat - don't use any oil/butter
  7. Enjoy with some sausage or other proteins. It also taste amazing with smoked salmon and sweet chilli sauce
